Clifton Ladies RFC was established in 1984 and we are one of the leading women's rugby clubs in the country. Since the 1990’s our first XV have played in the National Premiership League 1, the top league in the country and during the past five years, Clifton Ladies have been National Premiership League Winners (2004), National Cup Winners (2002) and National Cup Runners up (2001, 2003).

During the 2006/ 2007 season individual achievements included six players gaining international honours for Wales, and five for England. Also five players were selected to play for the South West Region, and four players for the England ‘Super League’ competition.

For the 2007/ 2008 season we are playing in National Premiership 1, and we are also re-establishing our 2nd team, who we hope to re-enter into the league structure next season.
